Get in Line to Pick Up Your Art
September 14, 9am
Cezanne or Christo? A 16th-century woodcut or a 2012 photograph? If you want it, preregister at any time, then get in line on the 14th. It's first come, first choice for the first 90 Williams students. Be in line, rain or shine, outside WCMA by 9am.
Check the event calendar on WCMA's website for a full list of events.
Q: Who can take home an artwork?
A: All undergraduate and graduate level Williams students are invited to participate.
Q: Where do I see the artwork?
A: Browse the entire collection here on the website, then catch it on the walls at WCMA through September 13.
Q: How do I borrow an artwork?
A: Preregister at the link above. Line up outside WCMA by 9am on September 14. It's first come, first choice so arrive early, bring friends and snacks, and get comfortable.
Q: What if I don't get an artwork this semester?
A: Don't worry! You'll get a new chance every semester.
Q: Do I have to pay anything?
A. No. The entire cost of the program is covered through the generosity of the Fulkerson Fund for Leadership in the Arts. However, you will sign an agreement that describes how you are expected to care for your artwork.
Q: How do I return it?
A: Returns will be scheduled for early December. You'll be assigned an exact date when you sign your loan agreement on Pick Up Day.
Q: What if I still have questions?
A: Contact WCMA's Public Engagement Manager, Sarah Margerum at email@example.com for more information.
